    If I could only read out the current balance, it would suffice because then I could create my own alert of some kind.

    Nothing over engineered, just pass through the number (or text) which holds the current balance like in de web app itself ( /sms/balance )
    I understand that the current API has a `/sms/<id>` endpoint, what makes the above unthinkable, but there must be a simple way to expose some kindlike route, right?

    This would be very useful!

    More uses:
    * Use as webhook event
    * Use as a mail alert
    * Use as an API call so someone can periodically fetch their balance to see the credits for themselves. (currently the app.mailjet.com uses /sms/balance to fetch this.
