Embed / White label Users can publish events for automations to trigger off of
Mailjet recently launched the ability for a user to trigger emails off of events outside of the mailjet platform.
This is done by the user adding an event block, and then configuring it to listen to a webhook.
As a client that embeds mailjet in our product, we would find great value in a solution where we could publish our own events that our users can then consume in their automations. The ability to skip some emails in a workflow according to date of entry in the workflow.
Usecase : the emails in workflow indicate update to system. New recipients added to workflow do not need to receive previous emails (as it confuses them).
As of now, the timer feature enables the workflow to send a specific email after a certain date.
Ideally we would have a timer that prevents an emails from being sent after a certain date too.2 votes -
Mehr Funktionen in Kontakten - More functions in contacts
Als ehemaliger Brevo-Nutzer würde ich mir deutlich mehr Funktionalitäten in der Kontaktdatenbak wünschen. Z.B. Freitextsuche in allen Eigenschaften, Filterfunktionen, Massenbearbeitung ausgewählter Kontakte und Verschieben/Kopieren von Kontakten in andere Kontaktlisten.

The form design options are rather poor. For example, I cannot add a border radius to the input fields for an email address. Or I cannot scale the font used in the field.

Adding unique API error codes
The API currently responds for certain errors with a generic code, such as "400". Making it difficult to identify the errors programmatically without also reviewing the specific error details.
We request to have unique error codes for specific issues in order to help make the code itself more clear. For example, instead of various errors just being a "400" code, they may use a different 4xx error that is not already in use. Making it easier to identify specific errors with just the error code itself.

Unified Brand Kit
The Brand Kit was a great addition, but it still lacks key functionality for larger environments. Currently, each subaccount generates and manages its own Brand Kit, which becomes difficult to maintain at scale.
Introducing a centralized Brand Kit repository at the primary account level, where brand kits can be created, stored, and assigned to subaccounts, would significantly improve usability. This would ensure brand consistency across all accounts with a single update, while still allowing subaccounts to create their own kits when needed.

Custom Variable Types
While this feature maybe useful for first party users, the request is coming from a white label / embed client.
We would like the ability to create custom variable types (either through the admin interface or an API) unique to our domain and then populate these per sub-account via API.
This is an anonymized example, while not directly related to our domain still illustrates the ask:
- we create a variable type "product property"
- this shows up in the drop down alongside "contact property" and "predefined tags"

Ce serait formidable que votre société accepte le paiement par mandat administratif. La ville de Beaugency est une collectivité territoriale. Nous souhaitons souscrire un abonnement mais vos services m'indiquent que vous refusez les paiements par mandat administratifs. Je trouve dommage de devoir me retourner sur la concurrence alors que j'apprécie votre produit. Votre entreprise se prive de 36189 collectivités territoriales comme clients potentiels et bien plus si on compte toutes les administrations qui ne paient que par mandat.

Alerting when IP is blocked
After three days, I discovered that following massive mailings via the API (emails sent in one shot), our dedicated IP had been blacklisted by Microsoft (Hotmail, Live, etc.). After discovering the situation by chance and contacting email support, I was told that our IP had been blocked.
It would be essential that when a majority of emails on a domain are not working, for example due to a blocked IP address, your customer be notified immediately. This alerting system should probably be generalized as soon as abnormal behavior is detected, since you have the information on your end.4 votes -

Timestamp of last opened email for contact should be exposed via API, this date seems to be already collected and yet unavailable via the API. I think exposing it via the statistics API makes perfect sense.

Suggestion d’évolution : export et suppression des contacts par segment

Dans le cadre du nettoyage de notre base de données, nous avons rencontré une forte limitation sur Mailjet : il n’est actuellement pas possible de supprimer directement les contacts appartenant à un segment, ni d’exporter les contacts d’un segment sans passer par l’envoi d’une campagne.Cette contrainte complique fortement la gestion RGPD, la maintenance des bases et la délivrabilité, notamment pour les comptes avec de grands volumes de contacts.
Une amélioration très utile serait de pouvoir :
Exporter directement un segment en CSV
Supprimer ou exclure directement les contacts d’un segment
Appliquer des actions globales (suppression, exclusion, désabonnement) sur…

Vous avez un outil très bien fait et des tarifs très intéressant et vous vous fermez a ce marché potentiel pour une simple question de facturation.

User level Timezone settings.
Right now, the timezone is set at the account level, which means everyone with access sees times based on the primary account’s setting. For teams working across different timezones, this makes it harder to schedule emails, manage automations, or review logs accurately.
We’d like the ability for each user to set their own timezone preference, so that timestamps across the app reflect our local time, even when accessing shared or subaccounts. This would make collaboration easier and reduce confusion around scheduling.

Simplified and Fully Integrated Double Opt-In (DOI) Management
We require a simplified and fully Mailjet-integrated method to execute the Double Opt-In (DOI) process without the need for a custom application, external database, or publicly accessible system. Specifically, the Automation engine should be extended to allow newly created or imported contacts to be automatically placed into a DOI workflow. This workflow should independently send the DOI email, use a standardized confirmation link provided by Mailjet, and activate the contact automatically once the confirmation has been completed, including assigning the contact to the appropriate lists.

smtp email authentication
Many software cannot be used with mailjet SMTP because of the username.
you provide a long key but without any @domain.com, some software refuse the username.suggestion :
if the username is ABCDEFGH....
Allow to enter ABCDEFGH@fakedomain.com as a username (and just ignore anything after the @)
