  2. I have recently been trying to build a 2-part Opt-In using a Transactional template and had a very hard time getting the Variables correct, until a support operative corrected my syntax.

    When adding variables and syntax is used, {{var:name}}, when not supplying a Default value (such as in a URL) the Variables list in the Example Code presented when the Template is Save/Published does not contain the {{var:name}} variables specified in the Template. Furthermore if you use incorrect syntax such as {{var:name:}} then they do appear even though they aren't valid!

  3. In addition to the "TextPart" and "HTMLPart" parameters of the "Send" API endpoint, add another "MJMLPart" parameter. Mailjet should automatically generate the HTML from the MJML and send the email.

    Currently, an intermediary trip to the MJML API (https://mjml.io/api) is required (which is still in beta, so that it might be unsuitable for use in production) in conjunction with the Mailjet API or a custom Node.js service for parsing the MJML before sending it to Mailjet's API has to be set up.

  5. The template designer is clunky:

    1. I can download MJML but I cannot upload it?
    2. I can make themes by adjusting the font presets (Header, Paragraph) but how do I maintain themes across templates.
    3. I can make the selected text bold, but when I change the style from paragraph to header or so the selection is ignored and the whole section is changed.
    4. The color selection in text styles does not accept double click.
    5. The font size selection in text styles is super weird, I am not even sure what it does.

  9. The system currently supports "versions" (for A/B testing) in the editor. I was surprised that I was not able to use this infrastructure to send different versions to different segments.

    Example 1:
    Send Version A to [Business Customers Segment]
    Send Version B [Everyone Else]

    Example 2:
    Send Version A to [Customers Segment]
    Send Version B to [Everyone Else]

    Example 3:
    Send Version A to [Customers Segment]
    Send Version B to [Opened in the Last 30 Days Segment]

  15. Instead of sending to one of our entire databases in one hit, I would like the ability to stagger the sends over a time period. I.e. send 10 batches of 1,000 emails, waiting 30mins in between, instead of 1 batch one 10,000

  17. I'm unable to easily rearrange emails in a workflow. New emails can only be added at the END of the sequence. But if I want to add one at the beginning, or in the middle, I can't simply drag and drop it to rearrange the emails in the sequence. I have to edit EVERY SINGLE EMAIL in the sequence. This is highly inconvenient.

  19. For whatever reason, the Account time zones has no GMT +2 times for Europe. There are several EET countries: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania and Lithuania.

    Feels very weird to be sending messages from Helsinki, Finland, and selecting the current time zone of Beirut, Gaza, Cairo, Jerusalem, Syria or Harare.

    Typically time zones come in a standard list, which lists Helsinki-- but the one now in use is some non-standard list. There might be some other anomalies as well, so might be worth just using some other standard list.
